ABOUT EAGLE CHAPTER

Eagle Chapter earned it's Air Force Security Forces Association charter on July 22, 2003. Since that day, we have grown to provide a vibrant, service-oriented volunteer force that provide services that seek to aid and promote Air Force Security Forces Airman, their families, association members, and traditions.

Eagle Chapter membership is free to all Air Force Security Forces Association members who work or live in Eagle Country - DC, DE, MD, VA, and WV. We have established key officer positions to drive chapter resources to focus on the needs of each region. Please feel free to contact these or any officers if you have a requirement or questions about our support.
Our Mission:
Serve our Air Force Security Forces Airmen and the Air Force Security Forces Association in activities that honor our Security Forces, our families, and our heritage from DC, DE, MD, VA, and WV.

Please visit our Events page to see upcoming chapter events and come by to see us!  Attendance at Eagle Chapter Luncheons is free to E-5s and below. Eagle Chapter luncheons are designed to educate the installation Security Force members by providing expert presenters on topics of interest to our Security Forces. This year, presenters include the HQ Air Force Chief Security Police and the HQ Air Combat Command Chief Security Forces. Role

Chairman/Chief Executive Officer
Serves as the chapter's chairman of the board and chief executive officer.

Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer
This person is responsible for managing the chapter's financial affairs. With Don's retirement, the CEO/Chairman operates in this role temporarily as authorized by the board.

Secretary
Chapter Secretary is in charge of board minutes at chapter board meetings that are open to all chapter members. The Eagle Chapter Board of Officers meet the first Tuesday of each month. Many of these meetings occur via conference call. Members may contact our Chapter Secretary to obtain the call information and minutes

Interim Vice Chairman Public Information
Our VCPI operates is responsible for the publication of chapter activities in the Air Force Security Forces Association's official magazine. They are also responsible for other chapter marketing activities, as needed.

Vice Chairman, Member Services
This Chairman is responsible for managing the chapter's membership roster and coordinating the roster with Headquarters Air Force Security Forces Association to ensure that it remains updated. The membership chair monitors Buddy Checks to ensure all members receive a welfare check. Also helps with the chapter mailing list and email list. ​

​Eagle Exchange Manager
Our Eagle Exchange Manager stocks, updates and manages Eagle Chapter memorabilia, for example T-shirts, coins, flags, etc. See our Eagle Exchange website.

Vice Chairman, Maryland Wing
​
As Chairman of the Maryland Wing, this person supports chapter members residing or working in Maryland and provides leadership of chapter activities in the state of Maryland

Vice Chairman Air Force District of Washington Wing 
This Chair person supports chapter activities located in Washington DC and the National Capitol Region - those locations located in counties adjacent to the District
Deputy Vice Chairman Air Force District of Washington Wing
The Deputy aids the Vice Chair AFDW Wing as needed to deliver Eagle Chapter Services to DC Capitol Region.

Vice Chairman West Virginia Wing
This Chair person leads our efforts to support the Airmen and members who are located in the state of West Virginia


​Vice Chairman Delaware Wing

This Chair person supports the Airman and members who are located in the state of Delaware.

Vice Chairman Tidewater (VA) Wing
This chairperson supports the units and members located in Hampton VA and members located outside of northern VA that live in the Commonwealth of Virginia


National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) Committee
Thie special committee aids Security Force Commanders with submitting SF members who have died while serving in our Air Force.

To Join: Currently serving Security Forces Airmen or those that have previously served in the career or a similar career in one of the other services, go to our Resources page and click on option 2.  If you live or work in DC, DE, MD, VA, or WV, you will automatically be added to the Eagle Chapter rolls without any additional cost to you.
