Eagle chapter Remembers our veterans that have given the ultimate measure of devotion to our country at Memorial Day 2016.

Wreath Laying Ceremonies at the Air Force Memorial and the Women in Service to America Memorial on Memorial Day
Every Memorial Day, our chapter has been invited to participate in two wreath laying ceremonies to remember our veterans that have given the ultimate measure of devotion to our country.  This year, we added four more Security Force members to our reflection on this Memorial Day, Senior Airman Nathan C. Sartain and Airman First Class Kcey E Ruiz both perished as members of the security team for the crew and aircraft while aboard a C130J that crashed in Afghanistan on October 2, 2015 and later Technical Sergeant Joseph Lemm and Staff Sergeant Louis Bonacasa died on December 21 2015 through an IED while in Afghanistan.

Below, the Eagle Chapter Chairman, Lee Chambers,  participates in wreath laying ceremonies at the Air Force Memorial on Memorial Day.

Eagle Chapter also places wreaths at military memorials in Washington DC for Memorial Day.  Eagle Member, Trudy Hannah, custom designs each wreath for each location and she places a wreath at the Phoebus National Cemetery at Hampton VA (near Joint Base Langley-Eustis).

Below, Eagle Chapter places a Defensor Fortis Flag alongside the Old Glory flag that the Army's Old Guard places on each grave at Arlington.  We place the DF flag on 17 gravesites of Security Forces Airmen that have been killed in action and member and family members at Arlington. Eagle's Trudy Hannah also placed a special tribute on the internment of Airman First Class "TJ" Richardson who died while serving on active duty.
